Lawlar shows an advanced ability to use the whole field with authority while being able to just throw his hands at a pitch with two strikes and use his speed to leg one out when he is fooled. The odds may be stacked against Parada to provide value at catcher, but his bat alone could carry him to All Star heights. A plus runner combined with impressive quickness, Matos is a threat on the base paths and has a strong chance of sticking in center. He covers plenty of ground with great closing speed, but could improve his jumps and routes some. Top-notch speed and potential for a 70-grade hit tool have Frelick looking like one of baseballs safer prospects. Hall saw his 2021 season cut short due to a stress reaction in his elbow, but has returned looking as good as ever this season. Its impressive how he is able to generate the rotational power and whippy bat speed he does with such little effort. The Mariners chose not to pitch Kikuchi after September 23, showing that they didnt think he would help in their unsuccessful playoff push that went down to the last day of the season. Still extremely young with a solid High-A season under his belt, Caissie is progressing nicely and could be a middle-of-the-order masher capable of 30+ homers if the raw pop can translate into game pop. Halls curveball lacks the tightness of his slider and is a bit more of a hittable pitch, but is still an above-average secondary that he will use to steal strikes. After hitting 15 homers last season, Westburg launched 27 more in 2022 between Double-A and Triple-A. Pages has a swing geared for lifting the ball in the air to the pull-side. His arm is easily plus, however his near bottom of the scale speed would make a transition to the outfield difficult. If Rocchio can develop into a .270 hitter with 15-20 homers per season, his defense, speed and intangibles would make him a well above average regular at the position. The hit tool and raw power were never a question for Jung, but he struggled to tap into his plus raw pop in his first professional season.
